Plus-One Golfer
In golf, a +1 handicap (often referred to as a "plus-one golfer") represents the upper echelon of amateur golf.
Unlike a typical golfer whose handicap is a positive number subtracted from their score, a "plus" handicapper has a negative index. This means they are better than a scratch (0) golfer and are expected to average 1 stroke under par on a course of standard difficulty.
